David and Allison Gallery: Drawings - Health Care Description: Allison Akana with David Werner c1969. Allison first went with David to the Sierra Madre willage health program on a student trip from Pacific High School. Soon she returned as a volunteer health worker for two years. Later she became a Physician's Assistant, and is currently on the board of HealthWrights, the NGO which David directs.
