Pulling teeth Gallery: Paintings Description: David and a young assistant preform dental work on a villager, (C. 1970). For many people in these remote areas a regular dentist was neither affordable nor available. The boy became quite skilled at preforming many standard procedures, and by the age of 14 he was the village dentist. Later he became a doctor.
